Meet the team

Colin Motyer



Colin has extensive experience in Retail, Large Corporate and SME Commercial Banking, initially with Allied Irish Banks and subsequently with Ulster Bank Group, a subsidiary of Royal Bank of Scotland Group.  Colin was most recently a Director in RBS Capital Resolution Group having previously had the role of Specialist Restructuring Director in the Bank’s Global Restructuring Group in Ireland.

Previously, Colin established and led teams within Ulster Bank’s Corporate Banking Division with responsibility for the mid-Corporate and SME sector.

Colin is a keen sports fan and outdoor enthusiast.

Andy Beck



Andy has 35 years of experience in funding and advising SME's. Having spent the last 15 years as a Trade Finance expert, Andy managed and advised Supply Chain Finance and Trade finance companies. This included pivotal roles in a new start business, which grew to accomplish a turnover of €100M with 35clients.

He also advised a number of large financial institutions, where he grew their Supply Chain Finance lending to €200M from zero, over an 18 month period.

Andy is a keen Rugby fan, supporting his local club where both his sons play.

Colm O'Reilly

Operations Director


Colm's background is as a corporate advisor and economist. He was a Corporate Development Advisor to a number of London stock exchange listed companies including: Petrel Resources, Botswana Diamonds and Clontarf Energy, in addition to being Director of GreenOre Gold. Colm was also an Economic Advisor to SME’s in emerging markets (with a specific remit around financing) and a Senior Economist in the UK agricultural sector. 

Colm has an MBA from Smurfit School UCD and an M.Sc. Economics from Bristol University. He also has a keen interest in sport (soccer and GAA), and is an avid reader.

Neo Wang

Financial Analyst


Neo’s background is banking and he has an M.Sc. in Financial Economics from University College Cork. Neo moved to Growcap from a large commercial bank in China where he was involved operationally in all aspects of granting corporate loan and credit facilities to companies in the SME sector, including risk control and financial analysis.

Neo has an in-depth understanding of trade and lending markets in China and provides expertise in numerous areas for clients whose export partners are from China, including financial and sourcing consultant.

John Landers

Business Development Director


John has an accountancy background and moved into the invoice finance industry in 1981. Initially working in the Client Relationship and Operations department, after a couple of years, he moved into Sales and has been helping businesses obtain funding ever since.

John has managed sales and business development teams in both finance and professional services and prides himself on helping businesses obtain the most appropriate funding facilities to meet their needs.

A keen sports fan John enjoys Golf and swimming (but not at the same time!!).
